As someone using both Android and iOS devices, I always missed the ability to access the settings menu from the Control Center on iPhones and iPads, a default option on almost every Android smartphone. Apple has finally solved this issue with the iOS 18 update . Now, iPhone and iPad users can add a “Settings” shortcut to the Control Center, but it is still not a straightforward process. On iPhones running iOS 18 and iPads running on iPadOS 18, users can customise the entire Control Center to their requirements. In fact, every default control can be removed from the panel, allowing for complete personalisation. This includes adding, removing, and resising popular controls like mobile data, Wi-Fi, hotspot, dark mode, and many more. The default control, which includes all the major connectivity-related buttons, can be swapped out for individual control tabs. Moreover, one can also add an app to the Control Center using the Shortcuts app. You can even have multiple pages of Control Center, each dedicated to separate tasks. For example, a single page can be dedicated to networking, while another page can be used for music control, and so on. To add the Settings control to the Control Center, you need to have the Shortcuts app installed on your iPhone or iPad. To begin customising the Control Center, follow these simple steps: Using the same procedure, you can add any first-party or third-party app or game installed on your iPhone or iPad. This will be helpful to quickly access an app or service when you are already using another app or game. None
