Dentsu India announces the launch of its fresher accelerator programme (FAP), a strategic initiative aimed at tailoring fresh graduates with skills and expertise which are considered to be essential for success. As per the claims made by the company, this six-month program is designed to bridge the gap between talent and modern business demands. “I am thrilled to introduce our Fresher Accelerator Programme. It provides fresh graduates with continuous learning and adaptation opportunities in our fast-paced industry through rigorous training, mentorship, and hands-on experience. The programme is designed to unlock the potential of this industry’s next generation of talent. We strongly encourage fresh graduates to apply for this challenging and rewarding programme,” Unmesh Pawar, chief people officer, South Asia, Dentsu said. Finding a job as a fresher seems to be a difficult task in India . Over 42% of India’s graduates under 25 were unemployed in 2021-22, revealed the “State of Working India 2023” report by Azim Premji University’s Centre for Sustainable Employment in 2023. Amidst this situation, the programme claims to provide comprehensive learning with classroom sessions, live assignments, enriching case studies, and presentation opportunities through its initial three months of training. As per claims made by the company, the programme includes hands-on training where participants will work on real-world projects. They will have to apply their learning in practical scenarios to develop skill sets. In addition to that, it is also claimed that freshers will gain valuable industry knowledge and mentorship from professionals. Furthermore, they will be given opportunities to engage with communities of peers and foster creativity and innovation.
