A massive fire broke out in an electronic company in Noida Sector 65 on Sunday Morning. 75 firefighters along with 15 fire engines were engaged in extinguishing the fire. The company was operational in a four-storey building which caught fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. There is no information about any casualties in the fire incident, but the flames of the fire have destroyed property worth crores. The fire broke out in the basement of Shyam SDS Electronics Pvt Ltd located at A 113, Secor 65 in the morning. On receiving the information, first seven fire brigade vehicles reached the spot, but seeing the scale of the fire, more fire engines were called in. DCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that 15 vehicles and 75 firefighters are engaged in extinguishing the fire and even after four hours of hard work, the cause of the fire in the basement could not be controlled. Property worth crores was burnt to ashes. In another fire incident, a slum in Kolkata caught fire on Saturday evening, gutting around 40-50 shanties. Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim, who visited the spot, said that there have been no reports of casualty. The blaze erupted in a slum near a private hospital in New Alipore area in the southwestern part of the metropolis around 6.50 pm, a fire brigade official said.
