Ajayante Randam Moshanam trailer: What’s a cinephile’s dream? One film and three Tovino Thomas . That’s exactly what Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) will be showcasing as it stars the Malayalam actor in multiple roles in a film that unfolds over several timelines. The recently released trailer of this pan-India spectacle highlights that Ajayante Randam Moshanam will fully bank on Tovino’s talents, exploring both his star persona and his acting skills extensively. The Malayalam period action-adventure is directed by Jithin Laal, a long-time associate of Minnal Murali director Basil Joseph. The official synopsis of Ajayante Randam Moshanam (which means Ajayan’s Second Robbery), reads, “Set in northern Kerala, three generations of heroes, Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan, try to protect the most important treasure of the land.” The 163-second trailer begins with a voiceover saying, “One night, a starstone burst from the sky. Surpassing the speed of the wind, outshining the brightness of lightning, it came and fell on our Haripuram.” The promo then cuts to a bygone era and introduces the Kalaripayattu combatant (Tovino). But we are soon introduced to another character, a “rascal looting from everywhere”. As the locals gather to nab him, we see him (Tovino again), as fast as a leopard and as fierce as a tiger, emerging from the net traps laid for him, all so fiercely. The trailer soon reveals that the actor plays three roles — Maniyan, Ajayan, and Kunjikelu. We are then shown Tovino in a timeline closer to the present and the romantic side of his various characters. “Three generations, one promise,” the video unveils as its core, maintaining an element of surprise. It also introduces us to the characters played by actors Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Basil Joseph. As the trailer unfolds, it gives viewers a taste of the film’s epic visuals and action sequences. This is the second visual asset of the film after the teaser, which gave a glimpse into the rustic but high-scale world of the film, which can be expanded into a franchise. The movie is written by Sujith Nambiar and produced by Dr Zachariah Thomas and Listin Stephen under Magic Frames and UGM Productions banners. The cast and crew of the film are currently on a city tour to promote their upcoming biggie, which will also be released theatrically in Hindi. This is Tovino’s first pan-India film after he gained a wider audience with Minnal Murali and the blockbuster drama 2018 . Ajayante Randam Moshanam is scheduled for a worldwide release, including in 3D format, on September 12, 2024, coinciding with the Onam festival. None
