NTA releases NEET UG 2024 re-revised result after Physics question Supreme Court ruling

NEET UG 2024 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on July 26 released the re-revised result for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The NEET UG 2024 revised result link is available at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. NTA also released the revised final answer key for NEET UG, in which option 4 has been marked correct for Physics Q19. With the revised result, the toppers’ list is expected to fall to 17. Initially, the all-India rank 1 was shared by 67 students, of which six students lost their rank when the grace marks awarded due to alleged loss of exam time were withdrawn and a retest was conducted for 1563 candidates on July 19. Following this, the merit list is now expected to drop from 61 to 17 after the Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the NTA to withdraw the grace marks awarded for a wrong question. This year, as many as 44 students found themselves in the toppers’ list after they got an answer to a physics question wrong and received grace marks for it . On the basis of a IIT Delhi report, the Supreme Court then ordered the NTA to withdraw these grace marks, resulting in a -5 for all students who had selected option 2 as the correct answer. This means these 44 candidates would now have their scores revised to 715 out of 720. The NEET UG 2024 has been marred with controversies this year due to allegations of paper leak, inflated numbers of toppers, wrong language paper distribution, wrong question, grace marks and more. The matter was heard in the Supreme Court in four sessions during the month of June and July. None
