CSIR NET 2024: Admit card released at csirnet.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit cards for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. Students can download their admit cards from the official website — csirnet.nta.ac.in. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to begin from June 25 to 27, however, it was on June 21 when the Agency announced that the exam had been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as “logistic issues”. About 2 lakh candidates were expected to appear for CSIR-UGC NET. The CSIR NET examination is conducted for students who are interested in Junior Research Fellowship and lectureship, assistant professor, and PhD. The CSIR NET 2024 will be conducted in computer-based mode. Step 1: Visit the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in. Step 2: Enter your application number and date of birth. Step 3: The CSIR NET admit card will be displayed on the screen. Step 4: Save and download the admit card for future use. The admit card issued is provisional in nature. Candidates are advised to bring hard copy of the admit card for entrance in the examination. The examination invigilators will not allow candidates with soft copy of the admit card to entry the premises and take the exam. The public notice also mentions the CSIR NET dates and shift for the subjects. On July 25, the Agency will conduct examination of three subjects —physical sciences, mathematical sciences and Earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences. While physical sciences and Earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences will be conducted in a single shift from 9 am to noon, mathematical sciences will be conducted in shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. On July 26, the NTA will conduct CSIR NET two exams on life sciences. While one of them will be conducted from 9 am to noon in shift one, the other one will be conducted in shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. On July 27, the testing agency will conduct exam of chemical sciences in a single shift at 9 am to noon. None
