Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reacted to Telegram app’s billionaire founder and CEO Pavel Durov’s arrest in France. Durov was reportedly arrested at the Bourget airport outside Paris at around 8 pm after he flew in from Azerbaijan. As per reports, he has been arrested allegedly for a lack of moderators on Telegram. The police believe this has enabled criminal activity to persist unchecked on the app. Reacting to the news of Durov’s arrest, Elon Musk posted a Grok message from his account on X talking about the arrest, saying, “Check out this ad for the First Amendment. This time he captioned the post saying, “POV: It’s 2030 in Europe and you’re being executed for liking a meme.” Since then, Musk has posted multiple times on the arrest. One post captioned ‘ Dangerous times’ showed a post listing different countries’ apparent “attack” on free speech. That particular post said, “Free speech is under attack all across the globe.
