The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is anticipated to release the notification for Constable (General Duty) positions shortly. Once issued, candidates will be able to view and apply for the Constable GD in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The notification is expected to be published on August 27. Applications will be accepted until October 5, with the computer-based examination scheduled for January-February 2025. The notification will provide specific details regarding application deadlines, fee payment, correction windows, and exam dates. It will also include essential information such as eligibility criteria, number of vacancies, application procedures, and exam patterns. Applicants must have completed Class 10 or Matriculation from a recognized board or university to be eligible. Those who have not passed Class 10 by the cut-off date will not qualify for the Constable vacancies. Based on previous years, candidates aged 18-23 as of the cut-off date are eligible to apply.
