RRB ALP, RPF, JE Exams 2024: Tentative exam schedule out

RRB Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a tentative schedule for the various posts including Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Junior Engineer (JE). As per the notification, the examination for ALP posts will start between November 25 and November 29. For RPF, the examination is between December 2 and December 5, followed by JE and other posts examinations scheduled between December 6 and December 13. The examination hosted by RRB will end with a technician’s examination that will happen between December 16 to December 26. The link for viewing the RRB exam city and date and downloading of travel authority for SC/ST candidates will be made live 10 days prior to the exam date for respective CENs on the official websites of all RRBs. Candidates can download e-call letters four days before the exam date mentioned in the exam city and the date intimation link. An Aadhaar -linked biometric authentication of candidates will be done in the exam centre prior to entry into the exam hall. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card . “Candidates are once again advised to authenticate their identification through Aadhaar verification, if not done already, by logging in with their credentials at rrbapply.gov.in to facilitate smooth entry at the examination centre,” read the notification. RRB selections are based on a computer-based test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates. Meanwhile, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the registration for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) which is underway till October 13. As per the RRB NTPC notification, the candidates can apply for graduate-level posts from September 14 to October 13 and for undergraduate posts between September 21 and October 20.
