Alia Bhatt is ‘not proud of her performance’ in Student Of The Year but wants Raha to watch it: ‘The most chill film a kid could watch’

Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year launched Alia Bhatt in the Hindi film industry, and it’s also the film that the Highway actor wants her daughter, Raha , to watch. In a recent interaction, when asked which of her films she would like Raha to see first, Alia chose Student Of The Year. Although she admitted she isn’t particularly fond of her performance in the film, she’s certain Raha would enjoy it due to its numerous songs and dance sequences. Speaking with IMDb, Alia shared, “I want Raha to watch Student Of The Year because it’s the youngest and the most chill film a kid could watch. It was my first film, and though I’m not very proud of my performance in it, it’s full of songs, and I think she would really enjoy that.” As for Ranbir’s film that she wants Raha to see, Alia said, “I want her to watch Ranbir’s Barfi. I think it’s very child-friendly… yeah, Barfi is a good choice.” During the interaction, Alia was also asked about her future aspirations. She expressed her hope for more children, more films, and a simple, fulfilling life. “Hopefully many more movies. Not just as an actor but also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and a healthy, happy, simple, peaceful life filled with nature,” she said. After dating for several years, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Raha soon after. On the professional front, Alia’s Jigra is currently running in theatres. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War in the pipeline, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
