Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Atlee seek blessings at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple for their film Baby John - Watch

Accompanied by filmmaker Atlee and his wife Priya Atlee and his leading ladies Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, Dhawan attended the Aarti ceremony and sought blessings ahead of the much-anticipated release. Speaking to the media after offering prayers, Varun said, "It was a very good feeling offering prayers here at the temple. God is bigger than the film. The film has been directed by Kalees and adapted by Atlee from his own 2016 blockbuster Tamil blockbuster Theri, which starred Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Amy Jackson in the leading roles. The Varun Dhawan-starrer will face tough competition from Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is going strong at the Hindi box office. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, the pan-India sequel has already become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever with its domestic net collections of over Rs 700 crore in just the Hindi language. Baby John is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande under their banners JioStudios, A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios. The film will see Varun Dhawan play a cop named Satya Verma and John, his alter ego. Sanya Malhotra will also be seen in a small role, while Salman Khan will make an action-packed explosive cameo.
