As per reports, Shaan was not present at his home during the incident. No official statement has come yet from the singer. An 80-year-old woman living in the building suffered breathing difficulties and was rescued. She was admitted to a nearby private hospital and remains in ICU. The fire department had received the alert at around 1:45 am and ten fire engines were dispatched to take control of the situation. The news agency ANI shared the visuals on its X (formerly Twitter account), and wrote, "Mumbai, Maharashtra: Fire broke out in singer Shaan's residential building. Fire tenders on the spot.
