Xiaomi unveils Redmi Pad SE, robot vacuum cleaner and more at Smarter Living 2024

At its 2024 edition of the Smarter Living and More event on Tuesday, Xiaomi introduced four new products, including the company’s latest robot vacuum cleaner, affordable TWS earphones, and a budget Android tablet. For the first time, the company has introduced a garment steamer as part of its Smartphone X AIoT strategy. The highlight of the Smarter Living and More event is the launch of the Redmi Pad SE, an affordable Android tablet with a massive 11-inch screen. Similarly, the company has also introduced the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ AFA Edition for football enthusiasts in the country in collaboration with the Argentina Football Association, which will be available starting April 30. The base variant of the Redmi Pad SE costs Rs 11,999 and offers 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and the tablet is also available with 6/8 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage for Rs 12,999 and Rs 13,999, respectively. The Redmi Pad SE will go on sale starting April 24. It runs on MIUI 14 and is eligible for a HyperOS update in the coming days. Similarly, the brand has also launched Redmi Buds 5A, a budget pair of truly wireless earphones with features like Google Fast Pair, active noise cancellation (ANC), and up to 30 days of battery life with ANC turned off, for Rs 1,499 and will be available for purchase from April 29. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 costs Rs 19,999 and comes with advanced laser navigation technology along with 4000Pa of suction power, and it works seamlessly with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Lastly, the Handheld Garment Steamer with its 1300W continuous steam capability can remove wrinkles from garments to keep them neat and fresh, and this device is priced at Rs 2,299. Both Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 and the Handheld Garment Steamer will be on sale starting May 6, and pre-booking starts on April 29. None
