SSC CGL Answer Key Tier 1 Result 2024 Highlights: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the release of the provisional answer key for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024 Tier I. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key on the official website, ssc.gov.in, as it will not be available on the previous SSC website. The CGL Tier I exam was conducted from September 9 to 26, 2024, across multiple centers nationwide. The exam featured objective-type, multiple-choice questions covering topics like General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section contained 25 questions, with a total of 50 marks for each. Questions were available in both Hindi and English, except for the English Comprehension section. Minimum qualifying marks are set at 30% for general candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20% for all other categories. Here are the three steps that candidates need to follow: Step 1: Candidates can count 2 marks each for every correct answer. Step 2. Struck off 0.5 marks for every wrong answer. Step 3: For answers left unattempted, no marks will get cut. In any case a candidate is not satisfied with the answer to the question then one can challenge it on the official website. Here are the steps which needs to be followed for the same: Step 1: Candidates will need to visit the official website-ssc.gov.in Step 2: Locate the answer key link on the home page and click on it Step 3: Fill in your ID and the password Step 4: Press on the login button Step 5: Look for the tab given for raising questions Step 6: Read all the directions and challenge the question or the answer Step 7: Submit the fees of Rs 100 for each question or answer. Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer keys can raise objections to the SSC CGL paper on 6 October till 6 pm. They will also need to make a payment of Rs 100 per questions. Candidates will be awarded 2 marks each for every correct answer and 0.5 marks will be allotted for every incorrect question.
